Sinossi
Tutte e tre precedentemente sposate ma ora single, le migliori amiche scultrice Alex Medford, violoncellista Jane Spofford e scrittrice Sukie Ridgemont si sentono emotivamente e sessualmente represse, in gran parte a causa dei costumi tradizionali che sovrastano la loro piccola città costiera del New England di Eastwick.
Dopo l'ultima conversazione lamentandosi della mancanza di uomini adatti a Eastwick e descrivendo le qualità che cercano in un uomo, il misterioso Daryl Van Horne e il suo altrettanto misterioso maggiordomo Fidel arrivano in città.
Nonostante sia volgare, crudo, sfacciato e non particolarmente bello, Daryl riesce a toccare le emozioni più intime delle tre amiche e, come tale, riesce a sedurle ciascuna.
A loro volta, le tre donne sbocciano emotivamente e sessualmente.
Dopo un incidente che coinvolge uno dei cittadini più importanti della città, l'ultra conservatrice Felicia Alden, le tre donne iniziano a capire come e perché Daryl riesca a mesmerizzarle così completamente.
Le tre decidono di sperimentare alcuni poteri appresi indirettamente da Daryl in modo da poter sperabilmente riacquistare il controllo delle proprie vite.
