Hansel and Gretel
Once upon a time, there were two siblings named Hansel and Gretel. They lived with their father and stepmother in a small cottage near the forest. The family was poor and struggling to find enough food to eat.
One day, their stepmother came up with a plan to abandon Hansel and Gretel in the forest, as they could no longer afford to feed them. Hansel overheard their conversation and came up with a plan to leave a trail of breadcrumbs behind them so they could find their way back home.
However, the plan failed as the birds ate the breadcrumbs and Hansel and Gretel were lost in the forest. They stumbled upon a house made of gingerbread and candy, which belonged to a wicked witch.
The witch lured them inside with promises of food and shelter, but she had evil intentions. She locked Hansel in a cage and forced Gretel to do chores for her. Hansel managed to outsmart the witch and together, they pushed her into the oven, escaping from her clutches.
Hansel and Gretel found their way back home, where they were reunited with their father. They lived happily ever after, never forgetting the lesson they learned in the forest.
