Synopse

„Inheritance“ ist die Geschichte von Monika Hertwig und ihrem Weg, die Wahrheit über ihren Vater, den Nazikommandanten Amon Goeth, zu akzeptieren, der von Schauspieler Ralph Fiennes in „Schindlers Liste“ dargestellt wurde. Als Teil von Monikas Suche nach Informationen wendet sie sich an Helen Jonas-Rosenzweig, eine Frau, die Monikas Vater während des Krieges versklavt hat. Über 60 Jahre nachdem Monikas Vater wegen seiner Kriegsverbrechen hingerichtet wurde, treffen diese beiden Frauen in einem historischen und schmerzhaften Moment aufeinander, was einen Abschluss bringt, aber auch neue Fragen aufwirft.
