Synopsis

Alphas is a TV show that follows Dr. Lee Rosen as he investigates the inexplicable murder of a witness in a locked room at a federal courthouse. Dr. Rosen leads a team of individuals known as "Alphas", who possess enhanced abilities due to differences in their brain structure.

The team includes Gary Bell, a highly functioning autistic with exceptional information processing abilities; Bill Harken, a former FBI agent with heightened strength in fight or flight situations; Nina Theroux, a woman who can manipulate others' minds; and Rachel Pirzad, a Persian girl with heightened senses.

Each Alpha faces challenges due to their abilities - Gary's autism, Harken's anger issues, Rachel's struggle with her parents' shame, and Nina's difficulty in understanding others' emotions. Despite this, they work together under Dr. Rosen's guidance to control their powers.

During the investigation, the team discovers that one of their own, Cameron Hicks, was responsible for the murder. They bring him in, only to realize that a more powerful individual is behind the crime, using new technology to mimic the Alphas' abilities.
