Synopsis

The long overdue biography of Andreas Baader and the story of the first RAF generation, on the 30th anniversary of »German Autumn« 1977. With numerous previously unknown documents and photos. Andreas Baader, born in Munich in 1943, was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1977 for fourfold murder and several assassinations. After the failed abduction of the "Landshut" at the airport in Mogadishu, with which the release of 11 RAF prisoners was to be blackmailed, he committed suicide on 18 October 1977 in Stammheim. For the first time, contemporary witnesses, people from Baader's private sphere and his family, such as the daughter of Andreas Baader and Ello Michel, express themselves here. The love letters between Andreas Baader and Ello Michel were made available to the authors. There are also numerous previously unpublished photos from the Children's and Youth Days as well as underground and prison. The tragic family history of the Baader, especially the uncle who is very close to Baader, a solo dancer and actor.
