Applaus Soundtrack (2009)
Synopsis
When critically acclaimed, tough and aging actress Thea Barfoed finishes her rehab, she is faced with a difficult decision. During her period of heavy drinking, she divorced and lost custody of her two children. She now wants them to be part of her life again. Christian, her ex-husband, quickly softens up to her tough, manipulative but charming figure and agrees. She has to prove to himself and to him that it's worth trying. But the harsh life on stage and the ghosts of the past slowly come knocking on her door. Thea is forced to face the voices within her. She is forced to give in to her faith and make the decision.
