Synopsis

Artist Arne Friedman lives an eccentric and reckless life. He projects his desires for love and fulfillment into the figure of a muse, he has painted himself. But after a short time, he gives up the search for a real image of that painted dream figure disillusioned and begins to let himself go. He drinks, provokes his environment and even thinks of suicide, until a mysterious stranger promises him help.
