Synopsis

BASEketball is a 1998 sports comedy film directed by David Zucker. The movie follows two friends, Joe Cooper and Doug Remer, who invent a new sport combining basketball and baseball called BASEketball.

Joe and Doug's sport quickly gains popularity and they form their own team, the Milwaukee Beers. However, their friendship is tested when a greedy team owner tries to buy them out and turn BASEketball into a mainstream sport.

As tensions rise, Joe and Doug must decide whether to sell out or stick to their principles and keep BASEketball true to its roots.

The film features a mix of slapstick humor and satire, poking fun at the commercialization of sports and the media's influence on athletes.
