Synopsis

Blue Crush is a 2002 sports film directed by John Stockwell. The movie follows the story of Anne Marie Chadwick, a young surfer living in Hawaii with her two best friends, Eden and Lena. Anne Marie dreams of becoming a professional surfer and competing in the Pipe Masters competition.

However, her dreams are put on hold when she suffers a near-fatal accident while surfing a big wave. Determined to overcome her fears and get back in the water, Anne Marie begins training rigorously with the help of a pro football player named Matt. As she prepares for the competition, Anne Marie must also navigate her complicated relationships with her friends and a potential love interest.
