Synopsis

Border Security: Canada's Front Line follows the Canada Border Services Agency as they deal with phony tourists looking to work, belligerent visitors smuggling contraband, toys filled with heroin, and weapons disguised as cell phones. This is just another day at the office for the agency.

Every day, twenty thousand passengers seek entry into Canada through Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and many more at land crossings in the Lower Mainland of BC. While most passengers feel the usual uneasiness of passing through immigration and customs, some have more legitimate reasons to be nervous.

Every passenger has a story...it's the agency's job to dig deeper for the truth. As Border Services Officer Lori Miller puts it, "It's our job to dig deeper for the truth."
