Synopsis

Bored to Death is a comedy-drama television series that follows the misadventures of Jonathan Ames, a struggling writer who decides to become an unlicensed private detective in Brooklyn.

Jonathan takes on various cases, ranging from missing persons to infidelity, all while dealing with his own personal issues and relationships. Along the way, he enlists the help of his best friend Ray and his boss George, who both have their own quirks and problems.
