Synopsis:

Cake is a 2014 American drama film directed by Daniel Barnz. The film stars Jennifer Aniston as Claire Bennett, a woman who struggles with chronic pain after a car accident that killed her son and left her with physical and emotional scars. Claire becomes obsessed with the suicide of a woman in her chronic pain support group, Nina (Anna Kendrick), and begins to investigate her life. As Claire delves deeper into Nina's past, she begins to confront her own demons and find a way to move forward.
