Synopsis

Constantine is a 2005 American supernatural horror film directed by Francis Lawrence. The film stars Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, a cynical and troubled exorcist and occult detective who can communicate with angels and demons. Constantine seeks redemption for a past sin that condemned him to Hell, but his actions have also granted him the ability to see supernatural beings.

The story follows Constantine as he investigates a series of mysterious suicides in Los Angeles, which he believes are connected to a powerful demon trying to break through to Earth. Along the way, Constantine enlists the help of a skeptical police detective played by Rachel Weisz and a quirky sidekick played by Shia LaBeouf.

Constantine must confront his own inner demons and make a final stand against the forces of darkness to save the world from destruction. The film is a dark and atmospheric take on the comic book character created by Alan Moore, and it explores themes of redemption, faith, and the battle between good and evil.
