Synopsis

"Darlin'" is a film directed by Pollyanna McIntosh. The story follows a feral teenager who is found by a Catholic hospital and taken in by a bishop and his staff. The bishop hopes to civilize the girl and make her a symbol of purity and goodness for the church. However, as Darlin' begins to adapt to her new surroundings, she starts to rebel against the strict rules and expectations placed upon her. The film explores themes of identity, religion, and the struggle for independence.
