Synopsis

"Dear Ex" is a Taiwanese film that tells the story of a woman named Sanlian who discovers that her late husband had left all his life insurance money to his male lover, Jay. Sanlian and her teenage son, Chengxi, are shocked and devastated by this revelation. As they try to come to terms with this unexpected turn of events, they are forced to confront their own prejudices and preconceptions about love and relationships. Through their journey of self-discovery and acceptance, they learn to let go of their anger and resentment towards Jay and find a way to move forward with their lives.
