"Deprisa, Deprisa" is a Spanish film directed by Carlos Saura. The movie tells the story of a group of young delinquents living in a poor neighborhood in Madrid. These teenagers are involved in petty crimes and drug dealing to survive in their harsh environment.
One of the main characters, El Torete, is a charismatic and reckless leader who dreams of escaping poverty and making a better life for himself. He convinces his friends to participate in a risky robbery that could change their lives forever.
As the group plans and executes the heist, tensions rise and betrayals occur, leading to a tragic outcome. "Deprisa, Deprisa" explores themes of poverty, friendship, and the consequences of criminal behavior.
The film received critical acclaim for its raw and realistic portrayal of urban youth culture in Spain. It won several awards, including the Silver Bear for Best Director at the Berlin International Film Festival.
