Synopsis

Double Dragon is a classic beat 'em up video game released in 1987. The game follows the story of twin brothers, Billy and Jimmy Lee, as they fight their way through the streets of a post-apocalyptic New York City to rescue Billy's girlfriend, Marian, who has been kidnapped by the Black Warriors gang.

The gameplay consists of the Lee brothers using their martial arts skills to defeat various enemies and bosses in order to progress through the levels. Players can also pick up weapons such as baseball bats and knives to help them in their quest.

Double Dragon was a commercial success and is considered one of the most influential games in the beat 'em up genre. It has been ported to numerous platforms and has spawned several sequels and spin-offs over the years.
