Synopsis

Dying of the Light is a psychological thriller film directed by Paul Schrader. The story follows a former CIA agent named Evan Lake, who is suffering from dementia and is forced into retirement. Lake becomes obsessed with finding his former tormentor, a terrorist named Muhammad Banir, who he believes is still alive.

As Lake embarks on a dangerous journey to track down Banir, he is joined by a young colleague named Milton Schultz. Together, they uncover a web of deception and betrayal that leads them to a shocking revelation about Banir's true identity.
