Synopsis

Philanthropy is a Romanian comedy film directed by Nae Caranfil. The story follows Ovidiu, a high school teacher who is trying to organize a charity event to raise money for a local hospital. However, his plans are complicated by a series of absurd and comedic events that unfold as he tries to navigate the world of philanthropy.

As Ovidiu struggles to keep the event on track, he must deal with a cast of eccentric characters, including a wealthy businessman, a scheming politician, and a group of bumbling volunteers.
