Emerald City - Die dunkle Welt von Oz

Synopsis

Emerald City is a gritty retelling of Dorothy traveling to Oz. Dorothy is brought to Kansas during a tornado as a baby and she bears a mysterious mark on her hand.

Jump 20 years later. While working as a nurse she also needs meds. We see her taking what she needs and that night a tornado sweeps through Lucas, Kansas.

While trying to find the people Dorothy lives, she hears sirens and starts yelling for help. Once found the officer pulls a weapon thinking the worse. In a swift second the policemen is picked up by the funnel cloud with Dorothy jumping into the police car.

Unknown the unit is a K-9 unit and is sucked into the vortex coming to Oz & Landing on the Witch of The East. Getting out of the police car she finds there is a German Shepard in the back. She gathers what she can and names the dog Toto.

What will happen? Will Dorothy find out where she is? Will anyone help her?
