Synopsis

Erendira is a novel written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The story follows the life of a young girl named Erendira who is forced into prostitution by her grandmother, the cruel and manipulative Ulises. Erendira's life takes a dark turn as she is exploited and abused by men who pay for her services.
