Synopsis

Hamlet Goes Business is a Finnish black comedy film directed by Aki Kaurismäki. The film is a modern adaptation of William Shakespeare's play "Hamlet", set in the business world of the 1980s.

The story follows Hamlet, a young man who returns to his family's company after the sudden death of his father. However, instead of seeking revenge for his father's murder, Hamlet decides to take over the business and turn it into a successful enterprise.
