Synopsis

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is a 1989 American science fiction comedy film directed by Joe Johnston. The story follows Wayne Szalinski, a scientist who accidentally shrinks his children and two other neighborhood kids to a quarter of an inch with his electromagnetic shrinking machine.

The kids must navigate through the backyard and find a way to get their father's attention to return them to their normal size. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and dangers, including insects and lawnmowers.

As the kids work together to survive in their shrunken state, Wayne and his wife Diane frantically search for them, unaware of their tiny predicament. The film explores themes of family, teamwork, and the importance of communication.
