I found the soundtrack of Hour of the Star to be haunting and melancholic, perfectly capturing the struggles and hardships faced by the protagonist, Macabea. The somber tones and minimalistic instrumentation added to the overall sense of isolation and poverty portrayed in the film.

On the other hand, I felt that the soundtrack of Hour of the Star lacked diversity and depth. While it effectively conveyed the bleakness of Macabea's life, I wished there were more variations in the music to reflect the different emotional states of the characters throughout the story. More dynamic elements could have enhanced the overall listening experience and made the soundtrack more engaging.

The evocative melodies and arrangements in the soundtrack evoke a sense of nostalgia and longing, complementing the themes of loneliness and longing for a better life portrayed in the film.
