Synopsis

Hustlers is a 2019 American crime drama film written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, based on New York magazine's 2015 article "The Hustlers at Scores" by Jessica Pressler. The film stars Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, and Cardi B.

The story follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients. The group of women start drugging their wealthy clients and maxing out their credit cards in order to make a living after the 2008 financial crisis hits their industry hard.

Hustlers premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2019, and was theatrically released in the United States on September 13, 2019. The film received positive reviews from critics, with praise for the performances of Lopez and Wu.
