It Is Your Turn
In a small town, a group of friends gather every weekend to play a game of chance. The rules are simple: each player takes turns rolling a dice, and the one who rolls the highest number wins a prize. This weekend, it is your turn to play.
As you take your place at the table, you can feel the tension in the air. The dice is passed to you, and you give it a good shake before letting it roll. The numbers on the dice seem to blur together as it spins, and then finally comes to a stop.
It's a six! The highest number possible. The room erupts in cheers as you realize that you have won the prize. But as you reach out to claim it, you notice a strange look on your friend's face.
They lean in close and whisper, "Congratulations, but be careful what you wish for. It is your turn now."
