I found the scoring to be overly simplistic and at times out of sync with the comedic and action-packed moments of the movie, which detracted from the overall viewing experience and failed to create a cohesive atmosphere.

The soundtrack of Juan of the Dead felt repetitive and uninspired, lacking variety in musical styles and failing to enhance the different moods and scenes throughout the film.

Donna Brown
6/10

I found the use of traditional Cuban rhythms in the soundtrack to be a refreshing and fitting choice for a film set in Havana. The music added an extra layer of authenticity to the story and helped immerse me in the world of Juan and his friends as they battled the undead.

The lack of memorable or standout tracks in the soundtrack of Juan of the Dead made it difficult for me to connect emotionally with the characters and the story, as the music failed to evoke the necessary depth and emotion to truly immerse me in the film's narrative.

5/10

The soundtrack of Juan of the Dead perfectly captures the chaotic and comedic tone of the film. The mix of upbeat Cuban music and eerie zombie-themed tracks creates a unique atmosphere that enhances the viewing experience.

While the soundtrack effectively complemented the film's action sequences and comedic moments, I felt that some of the tracks lacked depth and originality. There were moments where the music felt a bit generic and predictable, missing the opportunity to elevate certain scenes to a higher emotional level.
