Synopsis

Knockin' on Heaven's Door is a story about two terminally ill men who escape from a hospital and set out on a road trip to fulfill their last wishes. Rudi, a young man with a brain tumor, and Martin, an older man with lung cancer, form an unlikely bond as they embark on a journey filled with laughter, tears, and self-discovery.

As they travel across Germany in a stolen car, Rudi and Martin encounter a series of misadventures and meet colorful characters along the way. Despite their grim prognosis, the two men find moments of joy and camaraderie as they come to terms with their impending deaths.
