Synopsis

"L'argent" is a French film directed by Robert Bresson. The story follows a young man named Yvon who is wrongfully accused of passing counterfeit money. As a result, his life spirals out of control as he loses his job, his family, and his freedom. Yvon becomes consumed by anger and despair, leading him to commit a series of violent crimes. The film explores themes of justice, morality, and redemption as Yvon's actions have far-reaching consequences for those around him. Will he be able to find salvation in the end, or is he doomed to a life of desperation and regret?"
