Synopsis

Brokeback Mountain is a story about two young men, Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist, who meet while herding sheep on Brokeback Mountain in Wyoming. They develop a deep emotional and physical bond that lasts for years, despite both being married to women.

As their relationship grows, Ennis and Jack struggle with their feelings for each other and the societal pressures that force them to keep their love a secret. They meet sporadically over the years, always longing for each other but unable to fully express their love.

Tragedy strikes when Ennis receives news that Jack has died, leading him to reflect on their time together and the love they shared. The story explores themes of love, loss, and the struggle for acceptance in a society that does not understand or condone their relationship.
