Synopsis

Legionnaire tells the story of Alain Lefevre, a boxer who is paid by a Marseille mobster to take a dive in a fight. However, when he unexpectedly wins the fight, he decides to flee to America with the mobster's girlfriend Katrina.

Unfortunately, their plan fails and Alain is forced to seek escape by joining the foreign legion. As part of the legion, he faces challenges such as dealing with abusive lieutenant Steinkampf and forming bonds with fellow legionnaires Luther, Mackintosh, and Rosetti.

Meanwhile, the mobster discovers Alain's whereabouts and enrolls two hit men to finish him off. With their fort under siege and enemies within, Alain realizes that second chances are hard to come by in the Legion.
