Synopsis

Love Field is a drama film set in the 1960s, directed by Jonathan Kaplan. The story follows a housewife named Lurene who becomes obsessed with the Kennedys after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. She decides to travel from Dallas to Washington D.C. to attend the funeral of the President.

During her journey, Lurene meets a black man named Paul who is also traveling to the funeral. The two form an unlikely bond as they navigate through the racial tensions of the time. As they get closer to their destination, Lurene's obsession with the Kennedys begins to unravel, leading to a heartbreaking revelation about her own life.
