Synopsis

Moonlight Mile is a 2002 American romantic drama film directed by Brad Silberling. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman, and Susan Sarandon.

The story follows Joe Nast, a young man who is engaged to his high school sweetheart, Diana Floss. However, their plans are put on hold when Diana is tragically killed in a car accident. Joe struggles to cope with his grief and finds himself drawn to Diana's parents, Ben and Jojo Floss.

As Joe spends more time with the Floss family, he begins to question his feelings for Diana and his future. He must navigate his own emotions while also trying to support Ben and Jojo through their own grief.
