Bloodrage is a story about a young man named Richard who visits a local prostitute named Beverly. On his way into Beverly's home, he runs into her boyfriend, a police officer named Ryan.
During an argument with Beverly, Richard accidentally shoves her through a window, resulting in her death. He cleans up the scene, evades Ryan, and hitchhikes to New York City after disposing of Beverly's body.
In New York, Richard acquires a room in a dingy motel, gets a job at a bottling company, and befriends a drug dealer named Candice. He also spies on Nancy, a prostitute who lives across from Candice.
Intoxicated by the feelings he experienced during Beverly's death, Richard murders a woman named Lucy, torturing and humiliating her beforehand.
Ryan becomes suspicious of Beverly's disappearance and heads to New York to search for her. He enlists the aid of local police and passes around photographs of Beverly at clubs and bars.
During his investigation, Ryan spots Richard in a restaurant and hears a broadcast announcing the discovery of Beverly's remains. Convinced that Richard is responsible for Beverly's death, Ryan finds out where he is staying and heads there.
At the motel, Richard gets into a fight with Candice and kills her and her dog. Ryan discovers Candice's corpse and sees Richard at Nancy's through a broken window. Richard attacks Nancy, but she fights him off with the help of a straight razor and a pair of pimps.
Ryan arrives on the scene, grabs Richard, and throws him out a window to his death.
