The meeting of a man with his image 20 years younger. This is the plot of O Clone. In the beginning of the story Lucas is a happy adolescent, romantic, full of projects, and he's in love with Jade, a young Arabian girl. But life doesn't go well for him: he and Jade separate, he loses his looks, his projects are lost by the way, and he no longer the tenderness or poetry in his soul; he's dry and empty inside.
Meanwhile, Jade spends these 20 years imagining that her life would be much happier if she had married him. When they meet again, she tries to find in 40-year-old Lucas what is left of his former self with whom she fell in love. That's when the clone appears, made by Lucas' godfather without his knowledge, the geneticist Albieri. The clone is not Lucas, but it is the image that Jade loved for all her life.
Here then is an uncommon love triangle: Lucas becoming the rival of himself. The clone's arrival completely changes the other characters' lives.
