Synopsis
In the eighteenth century in a forgotten town, the young Benedicta is the daughter of the executioner. The monk Ambrosius, recently arrived in the town, takes pity on the girl but her interest in her unleashes Rochus's jealousy and the conflict between passion and her celibacy begins.
