Synopsis

Odd Thomas is a fast-food cook in Pico Mundo, a small town near the desert, who has the ability to see and talk to dead people.

He is deeply in love with his girlfriend Stormy Llewellyn and they believe they are meant to be together forever.

Odd Thomas uses his abilities to assist Chief of Police Wyatt Porter in solving murders in the town.

However, when Odd encounters the sinister Fungus Bob Robertson, he becomes convinced that Pico Mundo is in grave danger.

Through further investigation with Stormy, they discover that Fungus Bob is a worshipper of the Prince of Darkness and is planning a mass killing in the town.

Will Odd Thomas and Stormy be able to prevent the impending bloodshed and save Pico Mundo?
