Synopsis

One Good Cop is a story about Artie Lewis, a New York City cop who is dedicated to his job, his wife Rita, and his partner Stevie Diroma.

Stevie, a single parent, tragically dies during a hostage situation, leaving his three daughters Marian, Barbara, and Carol without a home.

Artie and Rita take the girls in and want to adopt them, but face obstacles from Child Welfare Services due to their small apartment and Barbara's medical needs.

Desperate to provide a better life for the girls, Artie robs drug kingpin Beniamino Rios to get the money for a house.

He also donates some of the stolen money to Father Wills, who runs a local orphanage.

However, Beniamino's girlfriend Grace De Feliz, an undercover narcotics agent, decides to go after Artie for the robbery.

When Beniamino kidnaps Artie, Grace has a change of heart and decides to help him.
