Marcial, a hit-man, begins a new job as a night watchman in the warehouse of a factory in the Buenos Aires suburbs. He is a solitary, quiet and taciturn man. Everything seems normal and monotonous, until a murder radically changes his outlook on life. Overnight, he will become the son of Román, an old man with dementia, and the boyfriend of Miriam, single mother of a girl named Malena. As the days go by, the four manage to build their own "paradise", away from sleaze, abuse and abandonment. But happiness and harmony are at the risk of ending when Marcial receives a call. Now not only is his life in danger but that of his new "family". As the great writer says: "Let heaven exist, even if our place is hell."
