Synopsis

Angélique is sixty. But she is not old. The best proof is that she is still working as a taxi girl in a cabaret by the French-German border. And that her love for men is intact. And that she keeps loving partying. And that there is nothing for her like night life...

Of course clients are becoming rarer and rarer. Sure a few of them are offensive to her and treat her like meat... But what a surprise when Michel, a friendly retired miner, asks her to marry him! Will she be able to become a respected married lady? Will she manage to make it up with her family? Can she really say farewell to her present lifestyle?

5/10

The music enhances the emotional depth of each scene, providing a poignant backdrop to Angélique's inner struggles and external conflicts.

Kenneth Clark
3/10

The soundtrack of Party Girl failed to capture the emotional depth and complexity of the protagonist's journey. The music felt generic and uninspired, lacking the ability to enhance the storytelling and evoke genuine feelings.

Dorothy Lewis
5/10

The use of traditional French and German songs in the soundtrack adds authenticity to the film's setting and characters, immersing the audience in Angélique's world.

James Lee
1/10

Furthermore, the choice of songs in the soundtrack often felt disconnected from the themes and tone of the film. Instead of complementing the narrative and enhancing the viewer's experience, the music at times felt out of place, creating a jarring effect that distracted from the overall immersion in the story.
