8/10

The orchestral arrangements and haunting melodies of the soundtrack stay with you long after the episode ends, making it a memorable and impactful aspect of the show.

Mark Johnson
9/10

The music of Penny Dreadful enhances the emotional impact of the characters' journeys, from Vanessa Ives' inner turmoil to the tragic stories of Dr. Frankenstein's creations. Each piece of music is carefully crafted to draw the audience into the dark and supernatural world of the show, elevating the viewing experience to a whole new level.

Margaret Wilson
1/10

The music felt disconnected from the Victorian London setting and the complex characters, failing to evoke the sense of mystery and darkness that the show aimed to portray. Instead of adding to the tension and drama, the soundtrack felt repetitive and generic, failing to leave a lasting impression on me as a viewer.

Donald Rodriguez
9/10

The soundtrack of Penny Dreadful is truly haunting and atmospheric, perfectly capturing the eerie and mysterious vibe of Victorian London. The use of orchestral arrangements and haunting melodies creates a sense of foreboding that adds another layer of depth to the show's already gripping storytelling.

On the other hand, while the music complements the visuals and themes of Penny Dreadful, some tracks can feel repetitive and overly dramatic at times, detracting from the storytelling. A more diverse range of musical styles and tones could have added depth and complexity to the soundtrack, enriching the viewing experience even further.
