Freshman Jamie Bartlett is frustrated with high school life. He wonders how popular she would be, where hunk Marco would notice her and smug Sawyer would remember her name. To escape the pressures of school, Jamie retreated into her journal, weaving a story about teenage heroine Isabella ("Is"), who is beautiful, self-assured, and popular and who can get any annoying person out of her life.
