Entering the hearts and minds of California's most dangerous juvenile delinquents, "Real Time" explores the reality of life for adolescents in prison. This documentary is about juveniles in the California juvenile prison system who write and direct two short films. It is also the first time that a documentary crew is allowed to enter the venue that houses the system's youngest offenders. The wards openly discuss their crimes, rehabilitation, and their dreams of life after prison. Real Time explores the true potential of rehabilitation through education and the arts.
