Synopsis

SATURDAY NIGHT LIFE centers on a young African-American woman who suddenly finds herself single with three children. Devastated and alone, she decides to challenge her depression on a starry Saturday night. As Los Angeles is brimming with energy, she embarks on a trip to the local discount store in an attempt to improve her mood and entertain her children. As the night progresses, she travels closer to her children and deeper within himself. Based on the true story of the experiences of the filmmaker's mother.
