Sgt. Bilko is a 1996 comedy film starring Steve Martin as the title character, Sergeant Ernie Bilko. Bilko is a scheming mastermind who runs a gambling operation on his army base, Fort Baxter. When Major Thorn threatens to shut down Bilko's operation, Bilko must come up with a plan to save his beloved gambling empire. With the help of his loyal platoon, Bilko concocts a series of hilarious schemes to outwit Major Thorn and keep his operation running. As the tension between Bilko and Thorn escalates, the fate of Fort Baxter hangs in the balance.
