Synopsis

Signature Move is a romantic comedy film that follows the story of Zaynab, a Pakistani-American lawyer who is living in Chicago. Zaynab is a closeted lesbian who spends her days working and taking care of her traditional mother.

One day, Zaynab meets Alma, a Mexican-American bookstore owner who is also a wrestler. The two women quickly form a connection and begin a romantic relationship. As their relationship blossoms, Zaynab must navigate the complexities of her cultural and religious identity, while also dealing with her mother's expectations.

Signature Move explores themes of love, identity, and acceptance, as Zaynab and Alma learn to embrace their true selves and find happiness in each other.
