Synopsis

Spartacus is a historical drama television series that follows the story of a Thracian gladiator named Spartacus who leads a slave uprising against the Roman Republic. The series is set in ancient Rome and explores themes of power, betrayal, and redemption.

The show begins with Spartacus being captured and sold into slavery at a gladiator training school run by the ruthless Batiatus.
