Synopsis

Strangeland tells the story of Genevieve Gage, the teenage daughter of detective Mike Gage, who is lured into a blind date by a man named Capt Howdy in a teen chat room.

The seemingly cool Capt Howdy turns out to be a pierced schizophrenic sick and sadistic maniac who kidnaps Genevieve and her friend Tiana Moore, subjecting them to tortures along with other adolescents.

After Tiana's body is discovered, Mike tracks down Capt Howdy, who is eventually captured and sent to a mental institution.

Four years later, Capt Howdy is released from the asylum, much to the dismay of the local population. He once again abducts Genevieve, prompting Mike to vow to kill him.
