Synopsis

The Courier is a thrilling spy film that follows the story of a British businessman, Greville Wynne, who becomes involved in a high-stakes espionage mission during the Cold War. Wynne is recruited by MI6 and the CIA to act as a courier between the two intelligence agencies and a Soviet spy, Oleg Penkovsky.

As Wynne delves deeper into the world of espionage, he must navigate the dangerous political landscape of the 1960s and the ever-present threat of discovery by the KGB. Despite the risks, Wynne is determined to help Penkovsky provide crucial information to the West that could potentially prevent a nuclear war.

The Courier is a gripping tale of courage, sacrifice, and the power of friendship in the face of overwhelming odds. With stellar performances from Benedict Cumberbatch as Greville Wynne and Merab Ninidze as Oleg Penkovsky, this film is a must-watch for fans of espionage thrillers.
