Carl finds it difficult to write new after the breakthrough novel. So he decides to take up the family's abandoned mansion villa, which is filled with clunky furniture and gold-framed mirrors. He gathers a group of artist friends in the house and they start a collective. Here are the poet Michael, the musician Danny, the photographer Sara and the sculptor Tim. Initially, they make fun of the sweet summer nights, and the alcohol seems liberating and unifying. Carl gets a drug dealer, Joakim up to the house but doesn't have enough money for drugs. So Joakim agrees to look for valuables. But fun does not last.
